Miami-based design studio GWDI transformed a Southwest Ranches property into Stone Manor—a French countryside escape blending rustic charm with refined craftsmanship. Founded by Jennifer Cabrera, Yaileen Obregon, and Daniela Purrinos, GWDI managed this full renovation and new-build addition using Programa to coordinate every detail, from limestone-clad walls and marble fireplaces to custom millwork specifications.

With endless moving parts across specs, invoices, and schedules, the team relied on Programa's visual boards, purchase order tracking, and client approval features to maintain clarity and control. The platform's intuitive dashboard kept clients engaged throughout the process, transforming what could have been an overwhelming renovation into a collaborative, transparent experience. Stone Manor showcases how Programa helps designers balance creative vision with seamless project logistics.

GWDI is a boutique interior design studio founded by Jennifer Cabrera, Yaileen Obregon, and Daniela Purriños. Their work is grounded in context, material discipline, and a clear point of view.

Stone Manor was a full renovation and new-build addition in Southwest Ranches. The brief called for a French-countryside sensibility layered with more structured detailing. Natural stone, rustic timber, limestone, aged brass, and custom millwork defined the language. With parallel trades, custom fabricators, and phased site work, the project required strict control of specifications, budgets, and timelines.

“Managing a project of this scale meant every detail mattered.”

Programa became the operational backbone. GWDI relied on it at every pressure point in the workflow - the moments where projects typically slip. They used the platform to handle item intake, supplier coordination, long-lead planning, client communication, specification control, and site readiness.

Here’s how the team used it across the project:

Schedules as the organisational structure: Furniture & Styling, Decor, and Hard Finishes were built as distinct schedules. Each held full dimensions, finishes, materials, quantities, installation notes, and line-item lead times. These lead times informed procurement windows, trade coordination, and installation sequencing - essential for aligning renovation and new-build timelines.

Supplier information tied directly to each item: Suppliers, reps, and sourcing details were attached at the product level. Whether it was Pottery Barn, Arhaus, Four Hands, or a custom fabricator, every route to purchase was visible to the whole team. This kept quoting, ordering, and approvals organised and eliminated repeat communication.

Client Access with controlled visibility: GWDI shared schedules through Client Access with selective toggles for brand visibility, pricing, supplier details, and product information. Clients reviewed accurate selections without being exposed to internal supplier relationships. Approvals moved faster because everything they needed sat in one place.

Specifications structured for contractors: Custom millwork, built-ins, and cabinetry details were centralised in Specifications. Joiners and contractors worked from a single, current reference rather than scattered PDFs or email threads. This reduced rework and kept fabrication timelines stable.

Bulk actions to drive momentum: For Hard Finishes - lighting, hardware, ironwork - bulk status changes moved groups of items through Internal Review, Client Review, Approved, and Ordered. This kept procurement aligned with construction demands and gave the team a clean view of project progress.

Photoshoot planning inside the same workflow: As the project reached completion, GWDI planned photoshoot styling directly within Programa. Selected furniture, décor, and accessories were pulled from existing schedules, ensuring the shoot reflected the documented project rather than last-minute improvisation.

“Our team loves that Programa feels like it was made for designers - it’s both beautiful and functional.”

Jennifer Cabrera CEO & Co-Founder, GWDI

Programa carried the structural load - schedules, specs, budgets, supplier coordination, approvals, and client communication. GWDI carried the design.

The result was a project where logistics stayed controlled in the background while the interior story held focus.
