For Sydney-based interior designer Linda Habak, the work has always been about two things: listening and craft. Studio LHD’s philosophy is built on understanding who a client is, how they live, and how a home can quietly reflect a life well lived. Every project is shaped by narrative—family, travel, collected objects—and brought to life with Linda’s sharp eye for detail and deep respect for architecture, whether new or heritage.

But behind the effortless calm of a Studio LHD project lies an extremely rigorous process. And it’s here—inside the day-to-day management of specifications, client expectations, and hundreds of decisions—that Programa has become embedded in the practice.

A practice built on process (and trust)

1. Listen

Every new project begins with time spent understanding the client—how they live, what they value, what they want from their home. After defining scope and budget, Linda creates the foundation for the project direction. Programa tools used: Early mood boards, initial schedules for fixture requirements, shared dashboard setup.

2. Think

This is where the heavy lifting happens. Spatial planning, selections, joinery documentation, fittings and fixtures, furniture sourcing, 2D and 3D design. Programa tools used: Full schedules for joinery, lighting, plumbing, furniture; Web Clipper for rapid sourcing; Financial tab for budget clarity.

3. Create

Construction begins. Linda supports both builder and client, coordinates deliveries, manages changes, and prepares the home for handover.
