Barcelona Chair by Knoll

Designed by Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich in 1929, the Barcelona Chair is a defining piece of modernist furniture. Originally created for the German Pavilion at the Barcelona International Exposition, it combines architectural clarity with material precision.

Still made by hand for Knoll, the frame is a single piece of stainless steel, polished and welded with no visible joints. The cushions are crafted from 40 hand-cut leather panels, individually welted and tufted.

Now available through Living Edge on Programa’s Trade Portal, the Barcelona Chair can be added directly to your FF&E schedule—complete with finish options, specs, and pricing support.
