GWDI is a boutique interior design studio founded by three Hispanic women in Miami - Jennifer Cabrera, Yaileen Obregon, and Daniela Purrinos. Our team believes in honoring the past while creating interiors that feel unexpected and deeply personal.

The GWDI team believes in honoring the past while creating interiors that feel unexpected and deeply personal. Their work blends Mediterranean-inspired romance with Miami's Old Florida character, celebrating original architectural details and the stories behind them. Each project is about layering craftsmanship with vintage finds - many of which come from their newly launched shop, The Edit - to create warm, refined interiors that preserve Miami's heritage while sourcing pieces clients feel connected to and that become part of their story.

The studio typically takes on just a handful of projects each year to remain fully invested in each one. Design phases usually run 3-6 months, though projects with larger scope and detail can take longer.

For GWDI, the design journey should be fun, creative, and exciting - not stressful. Their clients appreciate this experience most when every voice - client, designers, architects, and builders - is in clear communication and harmony. This collaborative approach is at the heart of everything they do.

For the GWDI team, it's about honoring Miami's authentic architectural DNA - that Old Florida character that made this place so magical originally. The studio is passionate about restoring interior elements like native stone, ornate plaster moldings, arched doorways, vintage lighting, and hand-crafted millwork. Their entire approach centers on bringing Miami back to what it used to be known for, before it lost some of that soul. When these original features are respected and restored, the work becomes more than designing a home, it's preserving a piece of Florida's heritage.

Before Programa, the team was using spreadsheets to track procurement and other design programs for saving products that weren't nearly as organized or detailed.

Now the studio has specifications, installation guides, budgets, invoicing, and schedules all in one cohesive place. The best part is the control it gives them over what they share with clients. The team particularly values the client dashboard feature - giving clients their own personalized portal where GWDI can upload design presentations and clients can review each item and provide feedback. This level of transparency and organization has transformed how they communicate with clients, making the entire process smoother and more collaborative.
