What's next on the roadmap
The next phase of Programa is about bringing more of your studio’s work into one connected system.
We want to reduce the disconnected tools and duplicate work studios deal with every day by keeping presentations, schedules, budgets, invoices, approvals, suppliers, and project workflows connected inside one system.
That connection matters because the biggest operational problems in a studio usually happen between disconnected tools. Duplicate work, outdated information, mismatched documents, and constant manual updates all slow projects down and create unnecessary complexity.
Programa is built to remove that manual work slowing studios down.
We want studios to operate with more clarity and less friction, spending less time managing disconnected information and more time designing, communicating, and delivering great project outcomes.
The next wave of features is focused on reducing admin, improving visibility, and helping your team move faster:
Meeting Notes
Meeting Notes brings every project conversation into one place.
Record meetings live from desktop or mobile inside Programa, or upload recordings and transcripts from external tools or voice memos. Programa then turns them into structured project summaries with decisions, action items, and open questions attached directly to the project.
Instead of hunting through folders, recordings, and email threads weeks later, every meeting stays connected to the work it relates to.
Automated Time Tracking
Our Time Tracking functionality is receiving a major upgrade.
A new global timer now follows designers between projects throughout the workday, automatically allocating time based on the projects they actively work in.
More flexible time logging, clearer grouping and filtering, project totals, and team reporting also help studios better understand where project time is actually being spent.
Designed around the reality of modern studio workflows, the new Time Tracking experience reduces manual admin while improving operational visibility across projects and teams.
SketchUp Extension
One of the biggest releases on the roadmap is the official Programa SketchUp Extension, built in partnership with Trimble.
The first release brings the Programa Product Library directly into SketchUp, allowing designers to search products, view specifications, insert 3D models, apply materials, and capture modelled components back into Programa without leaving their model.
The result is less manual admin, fewer disconnected workflows, and a more connected relationship between modeling, specification, and project delivery.
Invoicing and payment workflow improvements
We’re also building a new financial reporting layer for Programa.
Budgets that actually keep up. Integrated with your Programa schedules, project management, and invoicing, your budget automatically stays up-to-date across the life of every project. When a client switches to a new selection, the price of the product they love flows straight into your numbers.
Adjust markups, margins, and tax against your Schedule products to see profitability shift in real time and watch project budgets roll up into studio-wide financial reporting for a clear view of your cash flow. More details coming soon as this feature moves closer to release.
These features represent an important shift in what Programa is becoming. Programa is increasingly moving from a place where your team stores and organises information into a platform that helps your team do the work.
That means surfacing what matters. Helping your team see what needs action. Reducing repetitive admin. Connecting the dots across projects, clients, suppliers, and internal workflows.
