The 2026 Australian Interior Design Awards celebrated some of the country’s finest new interiors. The jury described this year’s field as proof of “the outstanding standard Australian interior design is operating at.” The projects make the case: a bistro folded into eight restored Art Deco flats in Brisbane, a Greek dining room of quiet monumentality in Adelaide, and a 35-square-metre boutique in Paddington.
To the twelve Programa studios recognised across this year’s awards and commendations: congratulations. We know how much care sits behind work at this level, and we’re proud to see your projects recognised.
The recognition belongs to the studios. Programa didn’t design Marlowe’s dining rooms or select a single finish for The Gentleman. We’re simply proud to support some of the work behind the work: the product schedules, procurement, approvals and invoicing that help carry a project from concept to completion.
This is our chance to celebrate the studios, their teams and the work that earned the jury’s attention.
