Revisions, History & Issues

The Schedule remembers.

A finish changes. A client reconsiders. Months later, someone asks what was specified and why.

Schedule revisions and product activity
Recorded product history shows what changed and who changed it. Revision notes explain the decisions, while Issues preserve exact exported Schedule PDFs. Keep all three alongside the live project, so your studio can answer from the record rather than somebody's memory.

See who changed what.

When a product detail no longer matches the earlier specification, check its history. See recorded changes to supported fields, their previous and updated values, who changed them and when. Product Activity brings those updates together with revision assignments and approval decisions, so the context stays with the selection.

Keep the reason with the revision.

A changed value tells you what happened. A revision note explains why. Create a named round of changes and add a note to each affected product, whether it was a client request, an unavailable finish or a revised selection. Different products can carry different explanations within the same revision.

Review the changes that matter.

A round of changes might touch the lighting, furniture and joinery across several rooms. Group or filter products by revision to bring those selections together. Review the affected selections and their notes without searching through everything that stayed the same, then return to the full project view.

Keep the exact PDF you issued.

Your live Schedule keeps evolving. An Issue preserves an exact Schedule PDF export as a dated, read-only record. Add an Issue title when exporting to retain that document in Programa. Reopen the original later, rather than recreating it from today's product information.

"Programa is very useful, particularly in our larger projects, where a lot of information must be given to the contractor and various vendors."

"I send a link to a client and they literally have to go in and just say, approve, approve, approve. We don't like that. Can we change that?"
