When Studio 8 Architect and Blejer Architecture turned three apartments into one Carroll Gardens home for a growing family, the creative brief was warm, modern, and layered. The operational brief was harder: two practices, engineers and millworkers, vendors, and clients all needed to agree on what was specified - often across dozens or hundreds of line items - without drowning in versions.
Programa did not replace judgment. It gave the team a single place where schedules stayed current, shareable, and legible enough for people outside the design room to act on.
