CUAIK: Club de Golf

CUAIK, a multidisciplinary design studio, utilized Programa to streamline the management of a residential project. The project involved conceptualizing, designing, and overseeing the transformation of a 1,200-square-meter space, focusing on integrating various design elements while ensuring seamless client communication.

Challenges and Solutions

Managing extensive project details across multiple stakeholders while maintaining a consistent design vision was a significant challenge. Programa’s integrated tools helped streamline this process. We used Mood Boards for concept development, presenting renders, showcasing swatches and materials, and documenting the project’s progress through construction phases. All these updates were sent to the Client Dashboard, allowing clients to see live, up-to-date progress.

We tracked project phases in real-time through Schedules and Client Dashboards, ensuring a seamless build from spec to site.

Our Schedules were robust and clearly sectioned for FF&E, Appliances, Hardware, and Materials, ensuring builders knew exactly what was needed and when. The Product Library allowed our in-house designers to store custom designs, while Programa’s side panel summary in Schedules was invaluable for specifying custom furniture components.

Key Features Utilized

• Client Dashboards: CUAIK used Programa’s Client Dashboards to share renders and project updates with clients, enabling approvals and feedback without constant meetings.
• Schedules: Organized schedules by rooms, specifying Hardware, Appliances, FF&E, Internal, and External finishes.
• Mood boards: Communicated visual progress through renders, construction images, material swatches, and finishes.
• Project Management: Managed all tasks in Programa, including list views, task assignments, and real-time progress tracking.
• Product Library: Utilized the furniture database and preset formats to save time, focusing more on design and less on admin tasks.

Impact on the Design Process

CUAIK found that using Programa provided a clearer, more organized approach to project management. The ability to have all project details centralized in one platform allowed for better collaboration, faster decision-making, and a more transparent process for both the design team and the client.
