Introducing Hidden Schedule Items

Gain Greater Flexibility, Control & Privacy

Programa

Is there anyway of hiding an item in a Schedule? I wanted to remove all the 'Rejected' items from a Schedule a client also had access to so that it was easier to read the status of the items that she had approved.

In response to user feedback addressing visibility concerns within Schedules, we're excited to announce an update: the "Hidden Products" feature. This enhancement allows designers to exercise greater control over what clients see, streamlining workflows and ensuring confidentiality until the perfect moment.

The Issue

Designers have expressed frustration over the inability to selectively hide items within Schedules, such as:

  • Creating custom furniture and logging contributing components.
  • Sending comparative quotes to suppliers.
  • Drafting schedule items for clients and wishing to keep them private until finalized.

This has led to cluttered presentations and compromised confidentiality, with clients inadvertently exposed to draft items and details intended for finalization.

The Result

Adding the "Hidden" products enhances Schedule management, offering designers unparalleled control and flexibility. Whether refining presentations or safeguarding sensitive information, this update empowers users to navigate Schedules confidently and efficiently.

  • Selective Visibility: Designers can confidently include draft items or intricate details in schedules without prematurely exposing them to clients.
  • Custom Component Creation: Designate specific line items as "Hidden," safeguarding them from client view and exports. This feature ensures comprehensive documentation of all details for Custom Products.
  • Efficient Quote Comparisons: Duplicate a product, update supplier details, and mark it as "Hidden" to avoid clutter in the schedule visible to your client. Utilize Bulk quotes to effortlessly gather comparative quotes. Easily archive any unnecessary products or suppliers to streamline your sourcing.

The Solution

Designers can now mark individual line items as "Hidden," withholding them from client-facing pages and exports. This functionality provides the flexibility to curate presentations, maintain confidentiality, and present polished Schedules without compromising work-in-progress details.
