How did your brand start, and what key moments have shaped its growth?
Founded by Jason Bonham, Bonham Gallery began as a natural evolution from two decades of experience in interior architecture and design. Jason and his team represent and collaborate with a diverse array of established international artists and designers. This extensive network and experience led us to transition into the gallery space, where we could exclusively represent and provide a unique platform for the talented artists and designers we have worked with over the years.
The past 4 years have seen huge global changes and provided us with the opportunity to focus on the bespoke pieces being created by outstanding artisan designers. We realised that our true passion lay in addressing a critical issue: the overwhelming dominance of mass-produced furniture, even within the luxury sector. The market's saturation with repetitive designs led to a demand for distinctive, crafted pieces coveted internationally. This insight drove the evolution of our brand, providing distinctive works to the design community in Australasia.

What inspired you to create the brand, and how does your background influence its direction?
The inspiration to create the brand stemmed from a recognition of the need in the market for artisanal products that embody authentic craftsmanship. Jason’s background working with small studios revealed the unique value of limited-edition workshops and the meticulous attention to detail inherent in their creations. The rich heritage of ancient techniques and generational skills passed down through these small producers struck a chord with our clients.
This deep respect for traditional craftsmanship and the personal stories behind each piece influenced our brand's direction, driving us to champion our artists and designers’ values and offer works that reflect genuine dedication and artistry.
By focusing on small production and time-honoured methods, Bonham Gallery can provide our clients exceptional craftsmanship, preserving the essence of these invaluable skills for future generations.
We are committed to our artists, their artistic process, and the excellence in the works that they produce.
